Kraft Kristmas
I want to get these posted today and am a squeak short on time, so if there's any particular one of these cards you want a description or how-to on, just speak up! I challenged myself to make as big a variety as I could out of brown kraft cardstock. As you can see, they are all nature themed. I can't seem to help myself when I get kraft paper out! It's gotta be nature-ish!

two ways to use paper strips by Karly
While you may wonder why I posted these two cards of Karly's on the same page, it's cuz they showcase two different ways you can piece your paper colors to create two completely different looks. (I've studied and studied these cards, Kar!! Keep them coming!)

striking stripes by Karly
Two more cards by Karly, my niece! Check out the similarity, but also the detailed differences in these two cards here. Did you notice that sponged edge again? That's always a favorite of mine. It softens and adds finishing touch. See the sparkled background on the Christmas card (below)?
Oh AND!!! I picked up a tip from Kar! Use nail polish to color (or sparkle) your pearls! I'm certainly gonna use THAT idea!
Thanks, K!!
primary colors by Karly
My niece, Karly, gave me permission to post several cards she's made lately. I could have gotten lots more from her and would have gladly, but time was limited:(
Here you see what she created using the same style but totally different themes. Don't you love that when you can do that? Use the same idea for several different occasions?!
What really grabs me is the mix of precise clean shapes and clear primary colors with the unexpected grunge of the background and inked up edges.
Nice work and Thanks, Kar-with-a-K!!!

for you flourish (effortless)
I'm simply addicted to the diecuts from the Flourishing Phrases bundle from Stampin' Up. This is a simple card, easily put together in a few minutes.
