praying dragonflies

More Dragonfly Dreams emboss resist and watercolor. Oh, and hand lettering.

sick and tired dragonfly

SU's Dragonfly Dreams as well as Sending Thoughts. Although the color doesn't show up all that well, I do love the Pool Party and copper combination.

hugs, prayers and love

I used a combination of stamps and dies again on these cards, trading around the Pool Party and Black colors.
Sending Thoughts from the SU Occasions/Spring Catalogue as well as dies and stamps from the Sunshine Sayings sets.

bloomin' hearts; bloomin' love

All the cards on this post showcase SU's Bloomin' Love/Bloomin' Hearts stamp and die sets. I used several images from other sets as well, but wanted to use the bloomin' ones as I seldom reach for that exact set. I was happy how they turned out and that it worked out to make cards for three different occasions.

rose garden sympathy

It's hard to see the Wink of Stella that these roses were painted with. I used SU's Rose Garden, Timeless Textures and reinkers for these cards.

my friend (hand-lettered, sketched)

Excuse my funny blurs (below) but I didn't want to show my already filled in comments to the whole wide world! I used some of SU's stamps on here. From Butterfly Basics. I still keep coming back to that fern image.

Congratulations with Botanical Blooms

I used SU's Botanical Blooms and Delicate Details. The Delicate Details stamp set is free with a $60 purchase until the end of this month!

It's okay (hand-lettered)

Artist's pens, SU's watercolor pencils, eversharp and eraser! That's all, folks. You can easily do it, too!

watercolor (hand-lettered)

The only stamp used on here is from SU's Gorgeous Grunge. Otherwise I simply used SU reinkers and watercolor paper and Aqua Painters. Oh, and then fine-tip artist's pens and an eversharp! The sequins cover up smudges from my inky fingers. I really thought it looked better without them, but What Could I DOOOOO?!

I Fall for You

praying for you (hand-lettered)

Another example of a hand-lettered and sketched greeting card. I used the stars from SU's Moon Baby stamp set.

Sisters (hand-drawn)

My friend Kayla creates the most beautiful hand drawn and lettered cards and other artistry. I decided to try my own hand at it. You see, sometimes I'm not well enough to work very long in my craft room. With watercolor paper or even just sketch paper, I can settle in my recliner and idly doodle, needing very little "stuff". Here is one card I came up with this last weekend. It's so difficult to photograph glitter, but maybe you get the idea on those flowers (top).
